Touch-up paint is used to repair small scratches, chips, and blemishes on your vehicle's paint to prevent rust and improve appearance.

Yes, clean the area throughly and make sure it is dry before you begin application.
Only use a primer if the chip or scratch goes down to the bare metal or plastic. Primer helps paint adhere better and prevents rust. You can add a small bottle of primer to your Final Touch Up kit if you need to.
Usually:
* 1 - 2 coats of primer (if needed)
* 1 - 2 coats of paint color
* 1 - 2 coats of clear coat (for protection and shine)
Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next one.
Wait at least 30 days before washing or waxing your vehicle to avoid disturbing the curing process.
You can remove fresh touch-up paint with rubbing alcohol or automotive paint thinner before it dries. For dried paint, wet sanding or polishing may be required. Included in your kit there is a card with step-by-step instructions and a QR-code to view a how to apply video.
We custom match your paint using your car's factory color code so the color will be very close. However, slight differences can occur if your car's paint has faded from the sun over time. We recommend using our test paint color card that is included in your paint kit before you begin application.
No, due to the vast selection of colors available we make each paint to order on a daily basis so it is completely new for the customer and to maximize shelf life.
On average it will last 3+ years and if fading occurs you can always apply another coat where needed.
If stored in the proper conditions (60 to 80 degrees) you can expect shelf life of up to 12 months plus.
